Hi my name is Nolan Iniesta, and I hope to become an art major.

When I first began this class I did not think that I was capable of doing anything. Then I realized that there were tutorial videos.

 

     When I was told there would be no test but project planners I began to like this class even more. Project planners are basically what we did that week. What we had to do is put what we expect to get done for the week, then put what we had problems with and the solutions to those problems for every day. Pictures were also optional, they helped your grade some to. Plus we had to do either a five minute video or five one minute videos to show what we learned. 

     
     I began with maya. It took 14 weeks to finish the tutorials because I was working slow and not being focused. It took another week to do my final project. All I did was combine shapes, and paint the surface to make it look like the charater I wanted.

     Then I started on mudbox. I thought mudbox was simple enough to just start make my own creations, I was wrong. There was so much stuff to learn. For my final projecct I ended up making a triseritops. When I thought I was finished Mr. KIser looked at it and told me It was trash. He then told me to put leather on it. For a day I just stared and looked at it, then I turned it in to a sea creature. When it didn't work out I put the leather texture on it.

     My time in this class has been fustrating yet fun. I hope to take this class again next year. I also hope to be more focused and do a better job at following instructions.
